Becomes a slog.

No. The game is intresting and sounds fun (i enjoyed my few hours in it) but the amount of RNG ruins it for me. Way too much skill checks. The game is hard i get it and i like that but being hard because of RNG is not a good thing because you can't do nothing about it. In a strategy game where you have to plan carefully a little RNG as taking the risk is good but as i said it's just too much. Think about it as you can't live and plan your life while you play one russian roulette each day untill the rest of your life. For example in one of my playthru my charater was injured 80% then got into a fight because of RNG, then aplied all kind of buffs to her to protect, she missed every single attacks or did 1 damage againts multipe a 10hp targets, again because of RNG. Then the enemy randomly selected her as target and all their attack was succesful for heavy damage even that my character was buffed to haven to dodge incoming attacks and they killed her. When your character dies in battle she/he not really dies but suffer a big negative perk and get injured. Mine was enought to fill to 100% and die and trigger the game over screen and lose everything. You can start over or save scum. There is a fine line when RNG can be a fun game element and this game just crossed it. I don't reccomend.
