Frontier Legends Launches Into Early Access – May 29

The wait is almost over.

We’re excited to officially announce that Frontier Legends will launch into Early Access on May 29th!

Over the last months we’ve been hard at work expanding the world, improving systems, adding new features, and preparing the frontier for players to begin their journey. With the demo now behind us, all focus has been on delivering a much larger experience for Early Access.

When Early Access launches on May 29th, players can expect:

Early Access Features

Full multiplayer servers
Character creation
A much larger world to explore
The full map open from the start
Expanded settlement systems
Workers and progression systems
More content, activities, and discoveries
Continued updates throughout Early Access

Whether you choose to build a thriving settlement, become an outlaw, recruit workers, explore the wilderness, or carve out your own path across the frontier, your story begins on May 29th.

This is only the beginning. We plan to continue growing Frontier Legends alongside the community throughout Early Access and your feedback will help shape the road ahead.

We want to thank everyone who has followed development, joined the demo, shared feedback and supported us along the way. We're incredibly excited to finally open the frontier gates.

Frontier Legends Demo Ends as We Prepare for Early Access

May 18

As we get ready for Frontier Legends Early Access launching this month, we have now officially turned off the demo.

The upcoming Early Access release will be a major step forward and include:

Full multiplayer servers
Character creation
Much more content to explore
The complete world map opened up for players

We’ve been working hard to make this the biggest and best version of Frontier Legends yet, and we’re incredibly excited for everyone to finally jump into the full experience.

The official release date announcement is coming very soon, and we hope to see everyone riding into the frontier with us on launch day!

Frontier Legends Demo Update 1.9.3

May 1

We’ve rolled out a new update to the demo addressing optimization when it comes to mobs spawning in.

Fixes

Fixed animals spawning excessively and not despawning correctly
Fixed infinite item duplication when transferring a full stack to the action bar
Fixed issues with chickens and egg spawning
Fixed coops not retaining chicken counts after saving and loading
Fixed being unable to close your inventory after death
Fixed UI issues when adjusting building height
Fixed infinite water usage with water buckets
Fixed workers damaging and killing each other when chopping the same tree
Fixed players getting stuck when placing workstations due to spawn height
Fixed items that decaying from the action bar will now go into your inventory
Fixed worker states not updating while inside hut inventory menus

Improvements

Improved lighting with smoother transitions between day and night

Added

Added camp spawn system — players can now spawn at a camp, acting as an early-game bed before owning a house

GPU Temps High Optimization Needed

And hopefully coming? Love the look of the game but this thing gets my GPU cooking, even with the frames capped in the drivers. Running a RTX 2070 Superclock. Very few games get my card up into the mid 60c. Really interested in this game but hopefully there are some optimizations inbound with release....
