can't say the letter S how do i open a chest?

I am in an area with a Chest and a skull. can't say the letter S, for reasons how do i open the chest then? and the skull wants "speaking" can't do that either is there a way to reset the words?

Cryptmaster Ask Me Anything (AMA)

Hey doomed souls,

Yesterday my full crypts were launched to the whole world and underworld. I would first like to thank all the poor souls who came and got consumed by my catacombs. For all the surviving souls who are still trapped in my crypts, I am surprised you survived that long and as a reward I will be hosting an AMA on the Cryptmaster subreddit along with my lower dev minions Lee and Paul starting at 9am PDT.

If you have any burning questions you would like to ask the developers or me, the amazing Cryptmaster, be sure to ask there. My minion will open up a post there once the AMA starts.

Crypticism Hunting

Has anyone had any luck finding the crypticisms? I've only managed to find the 2nd one so far. Even if I'm pretty sure I have certain locations, it's hard to parse out what the keyword is supposed to be.

Whatever: What is the optimal strategy?

A few things I've noticed in playing Whatever: 1) High-hitting cards are best. Status-granting cards that deal 0 damage are next to worthless. Payn's card sounds great on paper but that lack of dishing out damage makes any deck he's in very dependent on his letters matching with the rest of the pack. 2) Letter overlap seems to be king. It's important that all or most of your cards use the same set of letters, so you're dishing damage nearly every turn. 3) Keep it lean. As with all deckbuilding mechanics, ...

The Riddle for Iss makes no sense.

I just got the part after meeting Ulara where you go to find the names of the islands of the gods. The clue for Iss makes no sense at all. I got the Cryptmaster to solve it for me, and the answer is RUMPUS, but how you get Rumpus from that line of confusion is beyond me. Even with his clue about finding one letter that "stands out" among each line, it makes absolutely zero sense. ...
