Error when launching the game

I just saw the game at a romanian youtuber (IHATEPINK) and saw the game was cool and bought it, but when i try to open it it says: Failed to initialize Direct3D.
Make sure you have at least DirectX

games come up with other errors as well, such as "the game has crashed" (superhot), "failed to initialize renderer" (skyrim, and "Failed to initialize Direct3D.
Make sure you have at least DirectX 9.0c

changed to "could not initialize renderer"
- other games (HoMM V & VI, Autobahn Raser) won't work. The EM from HoMM V "failed to initialize direct3d9"
- He is using Win 8.1 and I did ALL updates

So I got the game about a week ago and it's been running fine. The other day, however, when I started the game the initial green loading bar filled up and then i got an error message saying:

gives me a "failed to initialize direct3d" error.

UPDATE: Installed new graphics drivers, and this fixed it for me.

I have both downloaded the highest virsions it says and i get this message when trying to launch it still Failed to
