I spent a couple hours on and off trying to get this game to launch and couldnt figure it out, I saw in event viewer there was a "Faulting module name: nvapi64.dll " error, seeing this I thought it
was a graphics driver error, so I uninstalled my drivers with DDU and reinstalled via nvidia and still no dice, same error

Tried running in windows 7 compatibility, running as admin, etc etc nothing

Crash

I've downloaded the BETA update but when I launch the game I get an error message and the game crashes.

It says:
Serialization Error: Action Needed
Corrupt data found, please verify your
issue or has any suggestion how to solve this?

If you attempt to run the game's exe file from the game folder, in Admin mode, does it give you an error code? If yes, what's the code? If not, do you have Epic Games Launcher installed? Doesn't

If none of this helps, in the game folder (and only in the game folder), try changing D3DX9_40.dll to D3DX9_43.dll
