People seem to have forgotten that retreating units in DoW2 suffer a massive increase in melee damage received.

Cursed Blade doesn't ring a bell from BG3. You mean Hexblade's Curse?

For Solasta, I haven't used Unfinished Business mod myself for some time, but I believe it adds Hexblade.

I doubt that CO/PDX have done anything to prevent this occurring again, but then I also suspect that as there are so many vectors that could cause similar problems, there wasn't much that they could do, anyway.
Strangely enough, I think the real villains in this event were the various anti-malware software producers, who, until this attack, hadn't included this particular brand of malware in their protection. You know, the guys who make lots of money off the general public by touting their ability to stop malware from causing problems.
So, perhaps the lesson s not to pound CO or PDX, but rather hit on Norton et al for their failure to protect the community from this form of attack. After all, Norton and co are supposed to be the experts in defeating malware attacks, while PDX & CO are game developers. I'm sure that if they were experts in malware detection and prevention, they'd move their efforts into that field, instead of wasting their time creating games. They'd probably make more money there, too, if they had the knowledge needed to build successful anti-malware software.

And here we have first one. Claiming that neither CO or Paradox are responsible. Magic right ? You buy thing and neither producer or the one who sold you this is responsible....magic...o.0

Just disregard the guy. He doesn't make much sense, forgets about what he writes (even when he's quoted), spreads misinformation, contradicts himself constantly, and gives bad and irrelevant information despite absolutely nobody asking for it. He also seems to like to pretend he knows more about subjects than he actually does, and belittles and insults others for no reason at all.

Thank you for making this game. Excellent idea, and I'm glad it has taken off so well.
