If your save was started in 0.9 or in beta but before July 18th then yes.
We've talked about it in the news:

I start this save on Aug 3rd, around 1 day after 0.9.5 leave Beta. Is it safe? or should i restart?

First off: Porting the game to Linux might not be that easy, since depending how the developer did the transparent window, it might use Windows API which would need its own adjustements for Linux OS.

Second: The dev apparently already abandoned the game, they probably dont care about Linux support at all since they do not care about updating the game in the slightest.

This usually happens when playing in full-screen. Did you try in windowed full-screen?

Obviously you need to hide and wait for a good opportunity to pick up your teammate. I never said just run there and do it. Hide near them and when they recovered enough (and in the best case he crawled somewhere more hidden) and the killer leaves to look for you again, pick them up. If you get caught while doing that, it's more bad luck or a skill issue.

And yeah hiding and waiting for him to die will take time. But it's kinda fair that the killer gets this time. He is taking the risk of you picking up your teammate or your teammate using anti slugging perks. It's not like the time is given to him for free.

Trying to do a gen, does not automatically guarantees that you'll get caught. If you're good at hiding you still can do a gen. There's even a topic right now, where a killer is complaining about not finding survivors, while they slowly repaired gens, because they were hiding really good.

Does it work every time? Of course not. But it can work and both players escape together in the end. That's why i say, the killer is taking a risk. He can gain both kills or lose them. It depends on many things.
Which killer does he use?
Which map are you on?
Are you good at hiding/playing stealthy? (Urban Evasion is really important while playing stealthy.)
Are there bushes near, that you can just sit in without the killer noticing? (I sure love these! :D)
Is there a locker near the downed survivor you can hide in?
Does the downed survivor even try to recover? (Sometimes they don't)
Does he try to crawl to a safer place to be picked up and healed?

If it seems impossible to you because of any reason, it's wiser to wait for your teammates death. But you don't need to. You can also go on a suicide mission to save your teammate while dying heroic. (That sounds way better than just suiciding to not waste time, right? :D)

I would recommend to repair a gen slightly right after the killer patrolled the gen and get as far away as possible before he comes back. Because he will most likely waste a lot of time searching for you on said gen. Or you use the perk red hering to lure him to a generator without even being near it.
That will make it more likely to survive until your teammate is dead and being able to look for the hatch.
Red hering is also good to use it to lure the killer away from your teammate so you can pick up your teammate.

Maybe you just need to find a perk that suits you best in these situations.

Even if it's not explicitly impossible. The type of counter play you're talking about is extremely time consuming and not fun. And if you heal the survivor that's been slugged the killer will generally just hunt them down again and slug them over and over.

Maybe it's not fun for you, but i enjoy these situations. I have fun thinking about ways to recue my teammate and trying to do that. Just because you don't like it, does not mean everyone does not like it.
It's exciting and i am really happy when it works.

Maybe i'm a bad person. While not hating slugging killers at all, i really enjoy letting them regret slugging me or my teammates. I'm not sure why, but it's so much fun for me.

And it's way more fun than being in a match with a good "looper" ... just sitting at gens without a need to hide or whatever until we escape ... it's so boring.
I know there are a lot of players that would really enjoy that. I'm just not one of them.

Just got the game a few days ago and apparently my foresters just stand next to a hole both trying to plant it. They've never once managed to plant anything. Could have sworn I read this was already fixed.....

I've just loaded an old save..now its working well.

Because the new targeting has made it garbage.

Used to be the closets target from where you dropped the imp(s), so you could clear the squishy dps. Now they will run to whatever is closets to your Pagoda, usually the non-priority tank targets.
