I feel the old system would be great with the thermals.

Get the traits onto a Yakumo first. Its passive makes it far more common for the traits that it has to appear on the pals you capture while it's active. Then it will be much easier to capture pals with a few of the traits that you're looking for to make breeding a bit easier.

You might also want to pick up a Braloha, which shortens the time it takes to produce eggs when assigned in the base.

So I'm playing rn at the time of writing this, and I found this wierd glitch where if you leave the game sitting for let's say 20 minutes or more, the gas and boost controls get binded to the right click on the mouse, it's still usable via the default controls you have set, but it's added onto the right click button, if this could reach carx tech support, id love for it to be patched in an upcoming bug fix
