Was playing a solo round, decided I'd give it a try to do a little achievement hunting. Upon my arrival to the Mesa I saw the hole for the tomb, wasn't 100% sure if I was gonna check it out when all of the sudden I see this little orange scout peaking at me from behind the rock. When I attempted to further investigate this, it went to hide behind the rock at which point it was gone. I checked around the rock and inside the tomb... nothing. I did not sign up for a horror game, between the scoutmaster, the antlion, and now this thing. Anybody else seeing this??

Side Note: Noticed that I was not taking damage from the sun? Not sure exactly why but about a min later started burning alive, not sure if it was a bug or because I wasn't far enough into the Mesa for the effect to kick in.

The controller setup needs to be adjusted, can't duck with the right joystick

Assuming I understand what the Spawn Weight column on the wiki is for, they use all origins except Hard Reset, Overtuned, Imperial Fiefdom, Slingshot to the Stars, Broken Shackles, Payback, Primal Calling, andFruitful Partnership. All of those are listed with a Spawn Weight (the likelihood of being randomly chosen) of 0.

Prosperous Unification isn't the only one they can use, it is just the most commonly chosen one. All of the rest are just a lot more rare, and in some cases can only be selected for a single empire on the map.

Id verification isn't a bad thing (especially considering the amout of pdfiles on here) but I can see why people feel unsure abt giving that info, I personally don't feel safe doing it but its a good thing

In all fairness any security that require your ID will always give you cold sweat on the butt. The thing is, while VRC and Persona already identify the concern when the feature was released, some people just don't want to listen let alone READ what does it entail and would just yell "this thing is bad because ABC and XYZ" anyway. I'm not saying criticizing is bad, but we talking about people who would rant to your face about feature that they don't even know how it works or managed. In million miles worth paragraph (and likely some ChatGPT in the middle).

The only legit concern about ID verification I know so far is how it tend to fail to get your ID picture recognized despite flashing your ID to the camera under the broad daylight.

Hello commanders, do any of you have any good tips for grinding Fed rep these days. Lots of sources are saying the Sothis/Ceos loop but I've checked that out can there are next to no missions.

certain comboes are more likely to drop if you spam the input. try to time your input instead (or at the very least, mash when you're closer to the intended input timing instead of mashing the entire way)

i feel like this won't change how much i drop the combos tho cuz i don't feel confident at all with timing stuff but ty anyways 😭😭😭😭😭

You don't need to be confident, just consistent :P

Luckily, timing is one of the simplest things to learn (not necessarily the easiest) - just spend 5-10min a day in lab trying to get it (start with getting just first part of the combo consistently, then move on to the next, so you won't develop bad muscle memory).
