If you're expecting a "traditional" campaign, this game is likely not gonna be that for you upon full release. Between the background description your selected character has, and the boat conversation they have with the boat captain at the beginning, that's all the Story you get.

Everything else is stuff that fleshes out the world this game takes place in better, which I don't see changing if/when the full game releases.

From the information I've seen, it's neither. Perhaps more like Hexen, but only to the extent that Dark Messiah of Might & Magic is similar to Hexen.

我想的是读取配置时，如果没有相关字段则视为true，而添加一个新动作时，编辑器默认设为false。

此时对于旧配置文件，读取后再保存，逻辑没有变化。对于新增的动作，如果不刻意配置，不会应用淡入，适用于大部分模型；如果制作者有意设置循环时淡入，手动勾选，仍然可以达到相应效果。

有一个现有的例子就是鼠标追踪新增一个项目时，混合模式默认是叠加，配置文件里blend_mode是1。而读取一个没有指定blend_mode的配置文件时，会将混合模式解析为覆盖。

读取配置用的第三方库，会直接返回完整的配置，文件里没有的就直接给个默认值返回，bool值的话默认就是false。

目前的想法是加个循环时淡入时间，然后配合json配置的版本，旧版本不会读取这个值，还是用原来的淡入，只有新版本的配置会用。加入版本控制也方便未来再出现不兼容的更新

也许可以在配置文件里保存为“disable_loop_mix”，在保存/读取时均转换为互补变量。

当然你说的方法我是完全认同的，感谢。

I am at the location of the quest, and there are candy but there is no O.R.C gguadrs to kill.

I tried to do at many others, by log in and out, sleep at a base nothing works, so i cant continue the main quest.

I Reported it in here and by mail 3 days ago, and still nothing, I cant continue my progress.

They could probably make a story-driven Elite game as a stand-alone thing fairly easily, given all the assets they already have. I'd rather see that over some kind of story pushed onto Elite Dangerous. Part of what makes it stand apart from other games is that everyone has their own unique story in the game, unlike other MMO games where everyone shares the same story. However, as interesting as that could be, it wouldn't be content for Elite Dangerous either.

I find it really breaks the immersion in MMOs where you return to a quest giver with the Mint Rare Long-lost Lantern of Light and there are 40 other players there turning in the same gadget.

I'd rather a sandbox experience, thanks.

I gotta agree here. Nothing worse than WoW as a Pally in Legion and I get Ashbringer (a lore wise unique paladin sword) and go to hand in a quest and every player there also has Ashbringer. lol It does indeed 100% break immersion.
