Hi everyone!

I am thinking about getting Deadzone but I am conflicted on a couple of things.

From what I read there is meta progression which I do appreciate. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Though I saw from another post that there is no progression on your account if you join a friend. I am not sure if I misread something or this was an issue before 1.0.

May I have some clarification on these two concerns?

That has nothing to do with Reddit. It's a common misconception that people accused of witchcraft were burned at the stake in the Colonies, when they were actually hanged.

Crushed, hanged, etc. Was more an analogy of religious zealotry causing the masses to play along/be complacent.

Since we can't accurately determine what a majority of the populace were actually Christian, or just playing along early on to save their skins.

Regardless, I just like to ask them what Christ specifically said about the gays, to which the fundamentalists go pretty quiet.

Why is Zippy Magic a staple for martial Azata?

And I'm not saying it's the best. Just that it's not a bad option. Not all martials get Evasion, and a 10% spell miss chance isn't great, but it's something.

Zippy magic is great because of all the buffs you can now cast on 2 people instead of just the 1. The benefit it brings is bigger than any of the other ones outside Incredible Might.

Even if your build doesn't get evasion, there's rings of evasion thrown around like candy. Great for those annoying exploding midgets near the end of the game that now do 0 damage instead of half your HP.

We're talking about martials. What buffs does a martial need to cast on two people at once (that they couldn't just cast twice)?

I definitely don't think Zippy Magic brings more value than Life-Bonding Friendship for a martial. And Rings of Evasion are nice, but there are other good rings that they are competing with.

That's the problem when a PC game devolves into a console generic slop game. Not the first time this has happened either. Anything to bring more revenue to cut corners and water down the atmosphere of the OGs.

This game made no difference being open world as the mundane traveling segments between key areas from OG games are just nothing but void and emptiness of generic Unreal Engine vegetation and assets, it all just looks the same and uninspiring hours in. A-Life still barely makes it interesting but more of an annoyance if anything because the combat just sucks. Story is also a snooze, essentially forcing myself to chug through it.

This game and it's community has fallen for the Quantity more than Quality and get upset easily of any criticism towards this game which are 80% valid.

Helix is a Sandbox-derived gamemode, but there might be some compatibility issues by default like you said. I'll give it a test and see how well it works, fingers crossed.
Also, is this compatible with Srlion's Hook Library at all? I use Srlion's Hook Library because it allows to use hook priorities with any gamemode and addon hooks, quite many addons depend on it for their functionality and I was wondering will GM++ conflict with it?

Why would Ito say it was brought to his attention that the original designs showed too much skin? Of course "game design because if he would have openly admitted his designs were censored, no one would supported it!

No, not trolling just someone who cared about SH2 and would rather newcomers not have the experience ruined for them by playing the remake.

I opened a post some time ago saying the things I DISLIKED about this game, (I played my first silent hill last year summer, and loved the main 4 so much I played all of them), and I mentioned 'censorship' and people argumented "abstract daddy is more scarier now", I don't know but I feel everything you saying, I like this remake but somehow even the music feel more like a 6/10 than a 10/10.

The best things of the remake I think is just the tech improvements of 2025, mainly graphics, but not much more, even the improved combat has worsened the game for me.

>skip all the post-quest text and rewards with 1 button (i can get back to watching tiktoks faster)

So you are an infant with no self control who gets distracted easy and you blame the game? Wild.
