When I uninstalled the beta, it uninstalled the anticheat as well Double checked with some commands, and it is gone.

Probably because it is the only EA game I had installed. If you have more installed, it probably won't

Just thought, I just really wish chiv 2 looked like it's predecessors and not like a generic unreal engine game, this might sound like overglorification but when I look at this game and chiv 1 it really looks like some old, dark and gritty medieval game which is why I love it. Not that this discussion will change anything, just my opinion

you can download the reshade, and make almost most games darker or brighter, due to the settings.

Don't. In fact turn off some of the DLC you already have. If you are struggling with the fundamentals don't go out of your way to add further complexity on top of it.

Thanks for the advice. I would get them just to show support. It's a game I want to enjoy, and I'm sure I will get use out of them eventually.
