Hi folks: can anyone confirm if I’m experiencing the same issue: two days ago, while playing Tekken 8, I opening the overlay to view someone’s profile and my PC froze. No controls / keyboard worked, the screen froze, audio was still present. Only a physical hard reset turned my PC off.

No error messages in event viewer, although I may not have left enough time for them to populate as I turned off my PC quite quickly (the screen didn’t go black).

Does this sound like the same issue everyone else is having?

Windows 24H2 - latest CU update
4090 - latest Nvidia driver
14700KF
32GB DDR5
Latest steam update
Temps all good. Stress tested and stable.

I’ve since disabled GPU acceleration in Steam and haven’t crashed again.

when i get in the game its saying not up to date which version of the game do i need to use to play the mod?

My suggestion is go into dark forest after the desert. Desert boss is like a puzzle game, so power scaling is less important. Get some legendary items from that biome. Than try the dark forest.

Tested it on my system and the issue is not present. In 3 out of 3 tests the AI performed correctly. It's definitely not a general error which happens for everyone.

Next month we plan to check BEL2 again for a potential update. I have added this to the list for further investigation.
