I didn't even know it was possible to throw things. I was intentionally trying, but couldn't find a way how. I'm on pc. Definitely the portraits are more of a pain than storage. Though, it feels like you're cheesing the game this way. I don't think it's a good design. Good that things don't despawn, obviously, but not using it as primary storage xP

yeah, it's not great to have to resort to leaving things lying around, i agree with you on that point :') but they definitely included it on purpose since the little experience things disappear instead, so i've decided it's not cheesing and am fully taking advantage
you do have to pick everything up before leaving your play session however, i think, it disappear otherwise
and the key for throwing should be in controls under settings :D

- Зайди в свойства игры в Стим и сделай проверку файлов на целостность.
- Проверь, что файл подкачки Винды включен и НЕ ограничен, надо: Авто или "Размер по выбору системы" и свободное место под него в достатке на накопителе(ях).
- Что видеодрайвер не старше полу-года от даты выпуска, иначе установить свежий "на чистую". У тебя оочень устаревшая версия видеорайвера!!!

i think the "forced" aspect kind of results from how people's reactions to you change (especially in stardew valley, where they start blushing and you can tell they have romance in mind) -- i've also found it off-putting in the past and usually find mods that change their reactions to platonic ones. dunno how much FoM leans in that direction as i haven't developed any relationships far enough yet

Oh that's true. They do begin to flirt a little but I'm not sure if it stops when you select the friendship option. I haven't tested that since I'm dating all the romanceables. Maybe someone here can let us know if flirting stops completely once you become friends.

In the few instances when devs are seen here, one of the actions they regularly take is to lock posts like this that someone necroes because they're 'confusing' (their terminology).
