I am noticing the post count is decreasing. I was in page 12 (15 post a page) and then it just vanished.

I delete it as it is no longer relevant. One of my supporters got banned unfortunately.

This board is only full of negative posts. It's a wonder anyone plays it at all. I suppose this game will hit its final iteration before there are any positive changes to warrant my purchase.

It's a shame such a great looking game has to be chained to these mechanics. No one plays vanilla at all, sadly.

Keep in mind, negative emotions are stronger (and it's much easier and usually safer to vent them here instead of bottling them up or affecting immediate surroundings negatively). It's also a place to vent after rage quit - you usually don't feel the need to spread your satifsaction after positive gaming session with strangers.
Thus, places like this are obviously biased.

The biggest proof of positivity existing within the game and it's community is that the game is still rather active and with very positive ratings.
To see a truly badly received game just check ArcSys' previous collab title: DNF Duel. Mixed reviews, barely any posts, no one to play with. Even character pass wasn't able to liven the game even a bit (except for the first DLC character, Spectre).

Even negative activity is a sign that people care - and hopefully devs understand this, because it means they still have time to improve the situation (since there are still people engaging with the game).

Vanilla really feels like that - a blander, non-controversial version of Versus (for good and bad). Except it's a cheap, thinned out vanilla (except for single player players that get extra waffle).

Rising is only divisive at top levels of play (where match ups have more influence due to players reaching near skill cap) and in queues, where you match against faceless, almost nameless opponents. It's definitely a fun game if you play it in more social-focused environment (discord, offline, even lobbies and room matches).

Sadly, ArcSys doesn't want you to level your characters outside of casual and ranked queues and XP gain is nerfed (which means basically no extra skins and profile goodies).

Seems like it's Jack of all trades master of none. Like you can do chip damage to vehicles and snipe people. But a regular sniper is just better then this for actually sniping people. The default sniper has way faster bullet travel then this.


Why use this when you can just play engineer for taking out vehicles...


The description says it's long range but I feel that's a stretch.

Had all these issues for years at this point. Gets worse almost every major chapter.
