Heads up to anyone who tries to turn on secure boot, its more than just clicking it on in BIOS. I have MPG Z490 gaming plus. I turned it on and PC would turn on but would never get past the black screen. I had to remove my gpu to get to the cmos battery, short the bios reset pins, put the card back in and luckily the settings will reset but I am just going to skip the game and leave that ♥♥♥♥ off. So if you're not aware of all the steps that go along with it don't risk bricking or getting stuck in a non startup state.

Looking back in time, I just noticed a post almost a full year old (in other words, near the very release of 2024) in which the poster was angrily shouting (all caps) at the developers.

I wonder if it's possible for the developers to say anything, ever, without criticism. Is that simply the way the world is now? Possessed with an ample supply of critics?

I think I'll go flying, to take my mind off the world's discontent. Fortunately, I can do that. From home. With iced teas or some other refreshing beverage close at hand.

Ok thank you, lastly can you please provide the crash logs. Since it doesn't give an auto report we will need to do some work to get them. When you gather all the info please email it to pgmmv-support@gotchagotcha.jp with a link to this post for reference.

First Step - Collect Log Files:
Navigate to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\KADOKAWA\PGM
• Locate the Editor.log
Navigate to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\KADOKAWA\BugReporter
• Locate the BugReporter.log
Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Pixel Game Maker\player-win
• Locate the action_log.txt (please notify us if missing)

Second Step - Get Windows Event Logs:
• Open Event Viewer through Windows search
• Select Windows Logs > Application (as administrator)
• Click "Find..." on the right side
• Search for "pixel game maker"
• Locate the most recent crash (verify it shows an error)
• Export both General and Details tab information (friendly or XML format) to a text file

Final Step - Submit to Support:
• Compile and email the following files to pgmmv-support@gotchagotcha.jp:
Editor.log
BugReporter.log
action_log.txt
Event Viewer information (text file)

I dont get why ppl so obsessed with character creator. Its the last thing on my mind when it comes to this game. I actually like developed characters with backstory. I would be up for actually adding more unique characters than some low priority character creator.

I think problem is that to play some builds you need to buy books in Manshire, so you dont get to play what you want in first hours. And some people want to create their own characters and their own story.

Yeah, you're 100% correct on that. But this is the difference between:

- having preset characters and an interesting map to explore, and having to go on a detour when make an unorthodox build with a character that doesn't start with the relevant skill trees; and
- having character creator and an uninteresting map to explore, and have nothing except mods to change this (most mods don't even change the game all that much, because they can only use existing sprites, no one is drawing new sprites for free, and mods break with every new update or even bugfix sometimes)

One is a minor inconvenience, and the other is a near impossible task.

BF LMG accuracy 9.7% to 13.4%, Carbines 10%-18%, DMR's 16.7%-19.9%, Assault Rifles 9.5%-14.5%, Shotguns 53%-84%, PDW's 10.9%-19.8%, Sniper Rifles 16%-28.7%..All of these numbers are to low to get high scores in Battlefield 4, they need to be 30%+ thats why you can and can't play against alot of the players.
