My point is, that there are some players like me, who just (trying to) play this game here and then.
I am not so much into FDEV and what they are doing/planning, I just have some spare time, to play the game, which I have payed.
All this without "researching" the entire web for any possible server-issues.
They have the tools for proper communication within the game, but they are not using them.

Games get updated. Live service games often need to be taken offline, while they're updated.

They don't schedule those updates specifically to mess with you.

Deal with it. Don't whine about it.

He's not complaining about the downtime.

Little factoid: the biters are actually easier in v2 because tile pollution absorption rates were increased (which nerfs frequency/size of biter attacks from your pollution). Starting in a treeless desert will always be more difficult than a woodland start (trees absorb massive amount of pollution).

As much as we've spent on dlc's we should have gotten more than 2 cards. Great idea, waste of time. I'd rather see that time spent on fixing the bugs in game.
