Now, the devs said that there is no difficulty option due to this fact BUT this leaves me with 1 question.

This game is a terrible waste of time and money.Shouldn't there be consumer protection here too? I am a veteran in PC gaming.Unfortunately, we consumers give the right to such developers to exist and steal money from our pockets.
In my opinion, there should be an authority that does not allow a game to appear on the market until the game has completed version 1.0. Many years ago, there were no such games or so-called developers.I repeat, we consumers allow this.This Steam platform is created precisely for this financial scam, of which they also had their share.

Who benefits from this? Not the players in any way. I bought this game for good reviews.and very good appreciation. Appreciation for what? You start the game, you have food for 3 maximum 4 days after which zero bar, nothing, with 50% fishing, very close to a river, and those who collect, go over the pile of conifers and don't collect anything. And I play on normal level, I'm curious if anyone manages to survive a week on hard level .
I researched, I read on the forum, I did the game tutorial, everything seems ok and very nice until you start playing.

Balance needs to exist in order for competition to be fair. If you try and balance for lower skilled players, you are trying to guess at what is and isn't going to work right. For instance, as mentioned above, a lot of new players just don't go do gens when playing as survivor.

Realistically, you CANNOT balance around the idea that some people won't do the gens, because if you do then you will make the people who do go do gens blatantly overpowered.

This is simple game theory.

I am not saying we should balance based on the insanely good, those who are just plain talented, but we should balance around the top 10% (25% if you really want to loosen up) of players.

In my last run i saw a video where guy talks about the 5th statue on the top and that there is a button mushroom so i went and found a gem pink and the name was "strange gem". Does anybody knows what to do with it?

The engine is solid, I think a lot of devs don’t know how to optimize it well.

They're just not creatively interesting or good looking designs and that's the harsh truth. Whoever is in charge of character art design could use some help. (And that's putting it lightly). Sylvie is just about the only half interesting-looking character and concept but even then she's not winning by a whole lot... and the bar is already quite low.

Premade characters are not some kind of unspoken evil in games, badly designed ones are.



I've been keeping quiet on this matter all these months since the last public playtest but it's slowly becoming clear this game is dead on arrival if these developers don't start listening to the generalized community sentiment and feedback that's been made evident in this forum, most of it surrounding playable characters.

The gameplay might be good... I personally found it addicting enough on its own... but if people don't resonate with the(ir) characters then it's gameover before it could even take off.

You're quite the minority in this case with people caring about designing their characters and if you think it's DOA because of that you're insane
