(This was a baseless statement. But based on what you wrote you have to believe it anyway, right?)

I actually tried looking into the matter. I asked Drecknath, who may know something about it. But instead of letting me wait for his response, it seems you feel the need to start a crusade defending your favorite dev of the week.

And my analogy is sooo much better than yours. No surprise seeing your example seems to be made to insult me.

Wait, dont answer that. I think I heard enough of your nonsense.

I am honestly unsure what evidence Dreknath has that the devs asked subset for permission before they started development or that they gave tundra tips, but here is what I do know:

1. The youtuber Anti Kleaper posted a video where he reached out to Subset to get their take on Void War. They gave their consent (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmaOk9bba-Q&t=73s). There are also supposedly other email screenshots circulating where Subset has given the same opinion. If you believe all these ppl are lying, please reach out to subset again for clarification. I am inclined to believe these screenshots are real until Subset states publicly otherwise.

2. This game was advertised on the FTL sub-Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/ftlgame/comments/1f8ysvz/void_war_is_out/). Im not sure how involved Subset is with this sub, but I would like to think if they believed this game was blatant plagiarism their moderators would have taken these posts down.

3. I have seen numerous people online claim this game stole assets. As far as I can tell, this game was built separately from the ground up. Every time I ask these people for evidence, they defer to "but the icons look the same" or "just look at the UI". For anyone that actually codes, this is simply not enough proof. I would obviously be 1000% against Tundra stealing anything from any game but you need to actually give real evidence. It's not on us or Tundra to prove they didn't steal; it's on the accuser to provide evidence a crime has been committed.
