What could be still better? Well if those are the last defenders, they definitely shouldn't have tanks or planes, maybe armoured vehicle or two? Those are underutilized.

Maybe tanks fixed in place for defensive purposes?
Wiki says that the Japanese had various tunnels/hideouts/basements in the end, however in this mission they fight like normal.

btw Last Makin mission, Main Def Area is still brutally hard as US, especially the begininng (taking the first ''village'' by the sea).

Just played Main Defensive Area on Normal, can confirm. First half of the beginning village we took once I was able to utilize the M2 on one of the Jeeps(allied AI just ditches them rather than actually trying to use it) but the second half was impossible. Endless enemies that we just could not clear out quickly enough coming from every angle, to the point where there wasn't any cover and you were lucky to get close enough to the objective to register, much less find somewhere where the enemies wouldn't just follow you around the corner. No matter how many Japanese soldiers I thought I killed, there was always more that I couldn't see, or if I could I couldn't stop getting shot long enough to shoot them. Lost the mission because there was absolutely no clearing the enemies out.

I'll probably play it again on the Japanese side to check how easy it is.

I had the worst time trying to go from the mark 1 reel to the mark 2 reel. I don't care what bait I used, it simply would not give me a leatherback. After about two weeks it finally gave me one. At that point I went after the mark 3 reel. I had almost 100 improved baits at that time. With only 20 improved baits, it gave me all 6 of the required fish. Then, I started casting for the axolotol. After about 50 casts with the improved bait, it finally gave me the axolotol which immediately gave me access to the mark 3 reel. I brought up a tinkers bench and upgraded. The first cast I did gave me another axolotol. And with only 3 improved baits left it gave me a third axolotol. The RNGs are not kind sometimes.

Main support in other games, Imo the best way to tell is to look at the flow of the game. Is the team pushing? Is anyone running? Can u see a group of enemies forming? How many on your team are alive and who on the enemy team is? It can also be worth it in situations with tight chokes or sightlines to play in cover and act like a dispenser that gives over health.

NGL i hate scrolling through discussions for announcements for steam games cause all i see in constant wining and crying from a BETA. i repeat. A BETA. its either "Oh battlefied isn't doing anything new which means they're trying to sell us the same game as before" or "They're changing to much and they're trying to be too much like COD" Bunch of ******* whiners I swear. And shutout to the people giving actual feedback and not comparing this game to the direct competitor, call of duty. Its just a lazy form of complaining.

For my opinion on the BETA AS OF NOW, Since battlefield 4 was my favorite of the series, this game does in fact, feel like a battlefield game. Shocker. BF6 feels like a step in the right direction for the series. I did skip 2042 cause of the bad reception it received at launch and after, So I cannot compare it to the most recent game in the series.

Every map brings something different to the table. want mid range urban gun fights in the streets and in buildings? you have Siege of Cario and Iberian Offensive. Want more open vehicle focused/longer range engagements? Liberation peak. and for the newest map focuses on close quarters chaos. Empire State. There 100% is map variety and people are tweaking when they say there isn't.

Gunplay is solid, its fun, and it feels really rewarding. TTK is fine, some guns need tweaking (shotgun). And the Weapon customization feels fleshed out so far. Hoping its expanded for the games full release. And the headshot ping is so satisfying in this game, chef's kiss. Rocket launchers are turds when you're not using them against vehicles. you need a direct hit to kill someone. I feel like if I shoot directly under you where you're standing your legs should turn into a red mist, no? splash damage is kinda a joke in this game (besides grenades.)

Movement. You play as a human so you should be as agile as a soldier with a rucksack carrying 2-3 weapons, throwables, and gadgets in your pockets. Sliding is niche and basically just lowers your hitbox ever so slightly. and i have 0 problem shooting people trying to 'slide cancel'. The game is grounded like its suppose to be. sure movement 'feels' slow compared to other battlefields, but when you're in a firefight with your team trying to capture a point, are you really thinking about 'being a movement god' or shooting the enemy? The speed of the game definitely ramps up in intense situations and thats what battlefield is suppose to be.

And for my complaints. There's bugs (expected from a beta). a lot that people aren't mentioning that ive notices. When you put a gadget down in a spot where it allows. sometimes the game will just delete it from existence and take your gadget cool down like you just placed it, so i have to find a support bag to refill my gadgets cause the game decided to **** me over. bipods don't work for the sniper that i noticed. the game will not let me mount my sniper AT ALL if i have a bipod equipped. which i hope they fix in the future. Annoying bugs that aren't much of a problem that i noticed; Invisible weapons/vehicles, chopper blades not spinning, unable to vault clearly vaultable ledges. randomly dropping to 1 hp when re spawning. That's everything i've experienced so far.

My conclusion. Stop taking in what other people are saying about the game. its okay to agree and disagree with what people are critiquing about the game. But come up with your own opinions and try to form your own review for yourself rather than following a herd mentality.

well the good news is the 3 founders, as part of their lawsuit, are also trying to get back the Subnautica IP from Krafton. I'd love for that to happen. Especially since it's Multiplayer, the Pro-Krafton folk who are cheering on the firing of the Founders are exactly the type of people I do NOT want to game with
