I’d add even more depth to this mechanic by using ammo attachments.
We already have FMJ and Soft Point rounds — these could directly affect penetration levels through different types of cover.
What do you think?

Kind of weird to see twice the hands, legs, arms, and torso. That stuff already exists between the chair and the dashboard.

I believe in the curse my Rice Shower wont pass any rolls with 20% Fail. So even if there is a 80% clear she just flops on the ground, gets depressed and piss me off.

Instead of appreciating the last couple of players with some free stuff and finally fixing the game, you follow the money train again and suck the last penny out of your most loyal fans. Digging down the uplink on a salvage mission.

To play devil's advocate - digging it down halfway is good, I think. The equator of the triangulation bubble is just above ground level, so you can dig it down a little bit and keep the same radius of space, while being able to at least jump onto the fuel cells to shoot over them.

The uplink is a no-brainer, you can dig it into the ground by exactly 1 Driller "chunk" (have Driller stand on it facing down and drill for half a second) and the radius doesn't get smaller.

But yes I'll agree when people completely dig the fuel cells down, it absolutely shafts the radius you have to stand in and that's annoying.

Also building a platform roof over the uplink/fuel cells. Serves no purpose but to block sightlines. Either go all the way and make a funny cheese fortress over the entire thing with one opening to funnel bugs through, or none at all.

If lighting is causing issues, they should absolutely add more emissive elements—like walls, props, or surfaces that give off light—then turn those up just like they would with in-game lights.

I work in 3D animation, and while this game isn’t made in Blender, lighting systems follow the same core principles in nearly all modern engines and 3D software. Even in the latest versions of Blender (which is fantastic), lights can still cause flicker, odd shadows, or rendering problems. Emissive materials don’t hit performance as hard or cause as many issues, but they still brighten the scene effectively. More often than not, this type of lighting works better than actual lights.

WHERE IS THE BATTLEFIELD??? They really should have shown off the biggest maps during the beta to give actual battlefield fans something to get hyped about. The sniper hill map was almost acceptable but it still just a glorified corridor.
