Blackmage, sometimes the authors get sidelined by shareholders or third parties. A big example is JK Rowling, where she opposes the switch to Snape and Hermione, despite having capable black and indian friends of Harry's. Then you have Tolkien, where if he wanted to, he would have portrayed Orcs as family material or even go and praise the daughter of Hammerhand, but instead nothing of the above were mentioned, yet others took liberties to deviate from direction of the original author.
For BG3 at least you had the freedom to choose your companions and how the story could progress, for Foresaken you are probably right yet here we have Solasta, a new IP of an unknown company where it was well received and had some woke elements (like Sekmet here tell us). I recognize 1 from the character creation. Some will say that the second could be that women where either Generals or top administration, however I would disagree because a new setting could mean a whole new different portrayal (I saw that in a YouTube review of Solasta 1). Yet people like me appreciated the faithfulness attempt to the rules and gameplay, the freedom to create any party and the freebies that devs gave with multiplayer and dungeon maker.
People like you can have their seat at this by creating an adventure with all the nuances you want using this tool, so this I consider true inclusion. However, the base game needs to appeal to the majority and the trend now is returning to based and like I said, I want Tactical Adventures to succeed and I believe they should consider the current trend.
