This is a Science Fiction game, so you'll likely find more people who enjoy reading, contemplating, thinking people with imagination & creative mindsets. That sort of thing does not come with age and experience, its just a type of person, or personality feature perhaps.

Even when I was a small child, I never cared for sports, other than playing soccer, actually playing, not watching... and I much preferred to read, go out in nature, explore, meditate. I like to entertain myself with my surroundings, and with my imagination, with freedom to move around to different things as I please, not get spoon-fed everything. Starfield is perfect type of game for that, and ive found that similarity among the many fans.

To what degree are you using your imagination? When looking at the story and hand-crafted missions I see very little use for imagination. It has a lot of content that I can ride from mission to mission.

If you are talking about the fairly empty planets then yes, I see a lot more imagination needed.

Planets are not empty for me, I have 37 outposts and a whole manufacturing pipeline that harvests/extracts/delivers all the resources to feed into manufacturing & sales pipelines, have about 30 million credits and steadily growing by now. Also I have snagged all the POI mods & integrated them, every landing is a new fresh mix, and I still find things I've never seen on a regular basis.

The quests are plentiful and do require thinking and imagination, many things are only possible to experience with it, if one is speed running quests, and not paying attention, you'll miss most of the content as a side effect. Same is true in real life.

I have spent a lot of time building ships and outposts which does require imagination, as well as the tinkery fun of finding the best mix of mods to get things how I prefer.

What is happening with the server?

I've been able to get some worlds to generate with Spooky Mod, but it's inconsistent and prone to either errors that abort worldgen or bad worldgen with structures/biomes overlapping. Hope both teams can work together to make them compatible because they're both top quality.

I'm going to add another voice to the day length thing.
It'd be nice if we could either have longer days, or the option to adjust the length of days.

when I think Mafia I think the city, something you'd expect from 1930s prohibition America, that sort of theme

Not really. When they introduced this gradient nonsense, somehow lost all interest. Can't explain why, just lost this feeling of immersion somehow...
