I'm In desktop mode and am trying to disable sleep mode and it won't disable. after a few minutes it just goes to sleep again.

The power settings look like this

When inactive: do nothing
When button pressed: sleep
When lid closed: do nothing

This is true on AC, battery, and low battery.

Any idea how to keep it from going into sleep mode?

So some other people have this problem same as I. Uninstalling the game wont and then Reinstalling wont help. To avoid this, don't run games that use steam network but aren't *ahem* Legitimate.
I fixed it by just restarting steam. If didn't work but you got it fixed, please share.
