Well even people who recognize bad optimization in his/her comments or reviews (i mean positive comments or reviews) expect that to be fixed someday, the same as those kind of reviews during early access of any game that are positive saying "it promises". Grounded 1 has a big part of influence in all of this, it was so good that has a huge number of fans and i'm sure the majority of them just give this one a positive review because well, it's more Grounded so they like it and expect to be fixed at some point, without going deep into the state of the release and without any details. Imo, at least.

In any case, the game is only mostly positive as the big main issues are there so it's not a flawed release in every aspect despite all the positivity towards it. Anyway, imo ratings are not very important at this point (unless those were really bad, that always force a studio to make urgent announcements as has happened at many other EA) and devs surely know the faults of this release and so i suppose that the complaints were expected and they are already working as planned to fix the issues. Imo, ratings will probably get a bit worse (at least) in the next weeks if they don't start releasing some patches to improve or help us tweaking perfomance before that Fall update that appears at the roadmap. But maybe that's also expected by Obsidian.

In general, perfomance is a work along the whole EA. It needs to be better meanwhile to let us play decently (and it urgently needs graphical settings for us to be able to tweak it) but it's nothing they can focus on, in an exclusive way, so early. Expect improvements, i hope, as soon as possible because the issues are there and the feedback is clear, but not perfection in any case. Much less being this UE5 ;)

I can no longer login using my Steam account after this update. I get four choices of ways to login, didn't have to do that before. None of them put me back on my original account and just put me back into the tutorials.

Thats why you need to write all account info in blocknote. Or you lose your accounts if anything happened.

I have my Steam account info, no problem. It's the fact that the game now suddenly asks for login info I can't provide because I didn't sign up with those. I installed the game via Steam, played it via Steam, and never had to make an account or login using something else. After the update, I can't get past this login screen.

I have tested it without any mod after a Clean installation ans it is coming up again...

I´m real upset about it because i can not Play the Game till the bug is solved.
