cause having cheaters is very needed and everyone should be happy they even get a worthless sort of compensation when they play against a cheater so blatant they actually get banned.
honestly if ur not goin to cheat dont bother playing any multiplayer game atm.

thats nice, i stopped playing cause every match is the same,. run into 1 cheater that toggles when they start losing.

Did a test yesterday. Still fine for me @4k locked at 100fps.
And yes, native resolution.

But i know quite a few people have weird issues.
But since people only write the problems they have and not the hardware they use, i can not help.

And again! It's common that developers use different platforms for
different game versions (live / beta / what else). It doesn't matter
what you expect. It's the developers choice how to handle that.

Maybe it's just the packrat in me when it comes to gaming but I'd REALLY like more warehouse space, I feel like i'm just skirting the edge of constantly running out of things all the time.

In the meantime, I noticed something else. The Dauphin played by the player has no background. All we know about him is that he has a relative in the neighboring country who has become king there and has big plans. When people talk to him, they always address him as if they were seeing him for the first time.
Is he perhaps the lost son of the former king, who suddenly reappeared when he came of age?
His background would be a good way to create different starting conditions to improve replayability.
For example, he could be a noble and find it particularly easy to win the support of the nobility. However, he is somewhat arrogant and has problems winning over the common people. This would require new strategies. One would have to make a great effort to win over the people, while one could often treat the nobility badly. He could also be a folk hero, a war hero, a saint, or someone who came out of nowhere and is disliked by everyone.
Doubling the reputation of one faction and halving that of another, or doubling the reputation of one faction and halving that of another, would create a whole new game. This could result in 12 backgrounds that require slightly different play styles.
The background could, of course, be expanded further and perhaps even the texts could be adapted, but that would mean more work for you, of course.
There could also be the option of selecting special characteristics for a Dauphin at the beginning, which would lead to certain bonuses or penalties in the game or make certain events more or less likely.
This would add depth to the game and improve player loyalty to their Dauphin.
By the way, I have no idea what Dauphin means. I looked it up. In German, it should mean heir to the throne. Dauphin is French.

So the option to choose your resolution does not work for me - nothing I try will allow it to even select anything but 800x600, so my only choices are windowed (tiny), borderless window (super low-res), or exclusive fullscreen (very weirdly stretched horizontally). Changing the quality or the V-sync does nothing to change the resolution

No I think you are missing the point. The main contention made by the OP, and accurately at that, is that Cronos sales will be negatively impacted by Silksong. That's just an objective fact.

Many gamers who would/will play both titles will prioritise Silksong over Cronos because they've been waiting years for it, ergo they will be unlikely to purchase Cronos at launch because they'll be too busy enjoying Silksong.

Cool. There are also plenty of gamers who will be bypassing Silk Song because Cronos appeals to them more. That's just an objective fact. ;)

Yeah, I think it's a bit abrupt and I got confused if I did something wrong or the game skipped to the end. But nice demo, enjoyed it!
