2042 had better maps. This has some of the worst maps ı ever seen

i think they only gave us the small maps in the beta being more finished and/or easier to finish, they did tease some bigger maps in the trailers.

Why make it a souls-like?

Regardless if I agree with OP or not but this is absolutely not true. I've read this several times now and I am baffled every time someone says this. Titan Quest 1 on normal difficulty was super easy. The only 'difficulty' came from playing bleed or poison builds with all of the super resistant undead mobs.

TQ1 is only "super easy" when you have played through it before and understand every bosses resistances, attack patterns,..etc. Going into TQ1 blind, not following a guide can lead to many people dying to one-shots ot at least 2 taps by bosses, mini bosses,..etc they are not prepared for.

I can name tons if TQ enemies/bosses that have oneshot mechanics for the uninitiated:
- Alastor (is immune to poison, bleed, life steal and will be hard to kill if the player does not have other weapons/skills)
- Barmanu (Ice metors can stun and one-shot you)
- Typhoon ( is a noob killer due to his mechanics)
- Charon (can also one shot the player if his water spouts are not avoided).
- Cerberus (will destroy any player lacking in poison res)
- Hades (will destroy any player lacking vitality res).

This is not even talking about Ragnarok, Atlantis, or Eternal Embers content, or the many many enemy types towards the late game that can destroy players if they lacking resistances at all.

So yeah TQ1 is a chill and easy game for those who have played through it already, but to brand new players coming in blind they can be easily road blocked if they do not understand a certain boss mechanics or if they rush content without managing their resistances.

I'm not a pro, but even with nearly 1k hours in TQ1 I still die easily to dumb things because even if the game is slow there are MANY deadly situations that can leave the player straight up dead.

Also in regards to the OP, no TQ2 is nothing like a souls game and it feels very similar to TQ1 in terms of speed challenge,...etc.

New Fluffbeak machanic

The idea behind the mechanic is great and I like it. But I agree with the people saying that the investment is barely worth it. I god lucky and I got +1 meat per 25 yields and double wood in the first 2 years. I built 2 rain collectors and was rolling in all 3 resources. But in the end Fluffbeak would end up consuming 50 wood 10 mean and around 16 water per use and I couldn't just keep up with it. It would have been okay if the creature had been pooping just as much, but nope). And the percentage was going down at insane speed. All that effort just so I could build a second farm by the end of the game.
Too much effort, too much babysitting for too little payoff. Could definitely use some tweaks.
1) Fluffbeaks demands could be balanced a little.
2) Maybe devs could add a small UI hint next to the water tanks showing the percentage (with numbers) and the bonuses active.
3) Maybe Fluffbeak could buff you with some additional bonuses the longer you keep it happy.

Guys, it's got nothing to do with a "northern" calendar. It's the difference between meteorological and astronomical calendar.

The astronomical calendar has autumn start on September 23rd. That is not "winter months", because winter months actually are from December 21st to March 20th. And that actually makes a lot of sense, because almost no country feels like spring in January. December-February are the snowy months, so it makes sense to call it winter.

The astronomical calendar is a lot closer to what kind of season we experience.
