That is probably caused by the fact that you did not enter the Bannered Mare the usual way, but are already in the Bannered Mare. Parts of the dialogue with Uthgerd may be conditioned.

Yep, that's what I've been saying from the start, i'm just trying to figure out WHERE I have to get to to kick things back into gear. Running down to the carriage and back up to the tavern isn't it (just tried). Getting the carriage to Riften and back *does* work. Next thing I'm gonna try is running to the carriage and waiting 24h then running back up, to see if it's the time more than the distance that does it.

I like Shawnee a lot but there are reasons people who have much experience with the game don't speak highly of her. Not because she isn't strong, but because of the circumstances of the poor game design.

1. Not newbie friendly. Her most valuable skill "Precision strike" allows her to use Railgun to aim at chest part through, which is extremely powerful but it is not available until later part of the game (you need to unlock that skill). Without her signature ability available to her she is rather weak and relies on chances to be effective. Not to mention she can easily out of ammo with our proper skill setup. But once she has that signature ability ready, she can be one of the strongest pilot that is almost required during certain clear ops such as clear ops 11/12. It's considered the highlight of her career. But after that short period of time... here comes the 2nd point.

2. She is completely overshadowed by "Asuka" from EVA collab event in pretty much every way. Asuka's signature ability "Javelin Throw" can also aim chest at a straight line but deals much more damage than Shawnee. Not to mention Asuka is so much more mobile and has another chest aim ability that can one shot lots of non-elites. Which replaces shawnee after people accquired her.

BTW her most versatile mech for her is a nVidia collab event mech called "Pascal". Which you can get completely for free and can upgrade to the maximum quality without spend any pulls. Awesome!

Understanding the game :
- I dont think gamers want tutorials in 2025, understanding mechanics can be through level path/design or environment art

4:40h on my end here.
Done all content/sidequests, fullcleared the entire map, nothing left unexplored.
Didnt skip dialog besides maybe 1 or 2 times when I accidentally clicked twice.
Increased the enemy-level to my current (23) and redid the bosses.
Have to say,... 15 hours is quiet the bold claim, even if you take WAY more time, no way theres 10 more hours to get out of it.
If I do a second, or even third, character Ill get maybe another 6 or 7 maximum...

That being said, had a lot of fun and my build is quiet insane.
Every ATT into Knowledge, StormMastery with 17/17 into IceShards and StormNimbus.
Roughly 45 Projectiles per second that home with insanely tight turnradius, pierce twice and just shred bosses (cause they re-home after piercing them)
Almost 90% of Energy Reserved for the IceShard-Modifier "Infused Shard" pushes my damage through the roof.

TL:DR
Game is fun so far, will prolly test out 2-3 more builds maximum since the current content is quiet sparce. Roughly 4.5 to 5 hours playtime, less if you only focus on story, more if you take it a tad slower.

two of the three mobs that drop coins as loot can be spawned using one of the 3 races named on the rune stone I'm quoting from. Dverger, the third mob to drop coins, don't follow this naming convention, instead of "man", or combinations there of, are:

Also, game is living rent-free in your head isn't it?

Pick whatever number you want..... current player count, daily peak, weekly average.... the trend is downward.

I hadn’t even thought about this game in a month. I came back to check if anything had changed, saw nothing meaningful, and made a post. That’s it.

I’ll check back again in another month, because I do want to play this game, if it ever gives me a reason to.
