Disabling G-Sync for Rimworld should help in some cases I've heard.

Is it laggy or really slow? Laggy doesn't necessarely mean slow after all.

Also consider using performance mods like Adaptive TPS / FPS Stabilizer and Performance Optimizer

Just pitching in a different perspective on gear from someone who likes the slower path:

I enjoy leveling on the maps rather than going to SB because I don't particularly care about gear progression and, to me, leveling on the maps like the ol' days feels closer to the intended gameplay.

Most of my classes are very close to level 70. From 10 to 45, I use normal armor that we can craft and make sure to wield an adequate weapon to benefit the monsters we're farming (i use elemental onyx and job onyx when available). Once I'm ready to farm Flying Noisy Snakes in dragon's den, I put on my set of double-gold armor, which i "downgraded" so i could equip it sooner than level 50. And I use that until 70. It's a bit outdated, but i wrote a guide a few years ago for monster grinding. It might help you in your solo journey.

For 50+, I also use uber pills and saddles to bridge the gap between my skills and survivability. Which ones to get depends on the build you're playing. The pills are available through guild merchants and other npcs in bigbeam city. They're usually easy to find in stalls too, alongside saddles.

It might be worth mentioning that i eventually invested in a few modded costumes for my main two playstyles: magic and aspd. This could be a goal to look forward to once you figure out which builds you like.

I realize it's not as efficient as the modded armor people are using nowadays. But it's a method that works for me without having to farm gold for eternity nor spend a ton of money. Hopefully it was somewhat insightful...

Very good choice btw. I recommend getting regen lv 11 from doctor when you have the opportunity. It does a fine job at keeping your hp full and stacks with regen lv 10. Once both shaman and wizard are level 70, you will unlock the new class Sorcerer which has strong buffs to boost magic damage. It's a pretty solid build and lots of players are using it. If you need help, it should be easy to get info from the community in-game :)

I played 100's of hours of BF 1942 (2002), long before I picked up COD. Also enjoyed BF4 and BF1. After playing the open beta I can say BF6 may finally reach a level that COD has dominated as a multiplayer shooter. COD has been decent and playable for years, but has dropped a few notches. Many players hate on COD, but it's still our fix. BF started as a great franchise that fell down a cliff ages ago and has been trying to crawl its way back unsuccessfully.

BF6 open beta is decent and playable, but still not where BF should be in 2025 and I'm not sure they'll ever reclaim it. This feels like Modern Warefare 2019 ground war with BF classes and aircraft sprinkled in, only not as polished. Maps are small. Conquest is decent but Breakthrough is a joke. Everyone meet in the middle and just die endlessly. Domination? I'll just play Black Ops. It's cleaner and less glitchy. We also don't know if EA can keep up with player's demand for regular, new content (seasonal, etc.). This content is pretty sparse from the start.

One core feature problem with this BF is both factions have identical gear. This is what made BF great from the beginning. It feels like you're actually playing (and fighting against) a different faction because they actually have different weapons and equipment. NATO has specific NATO ammo and weapons. You want to try some different weapons, you play a different faction or pick up a dropped gun. This is dumb, lazy balancing. It pretty much makes playing a different faction meaningless.

I wanted to be amazed, feel like BF was back and buy it at launch. At this point I'll wait until the price drops and they've had time to fix what can be fixed and hopefully have a lot of content updates. If the only good that comes from it is motivating MS/Activision to remember what made past COD's great and start listening to players, I'm happy with that.

For me TTK is insanely slow in BF6, and it's definitely much slower than BF4. Why do people say it's too fast, I can not fathom. Except for shotguns, I guess, but that's a whole different story.
