I think the point is that a game that's currently in early access shouldn't be release DLC (free or not).

Yes, this should probably be just called an update to avoid confusion, but if they didn't release dlc, how would the game ever be finished?

Pretty sure he thinks OP is talking about the touchpads. They're technically called trackpads but some people call them touchpads.

Imo Steam Deck is too heavy to play rhythm games comfortably, but if you have a dock or stand, the touchpads / trackpads would definitely be preferable to the dpad and buttons.

You would probably have to set the controls up manually though, when I checked awhile back there wasn't any community control config for it.

But you could comfortably put four inputs per pad, for a total of eight. I'd just do the bottom corners for the four white notes and the top corners for the blue and green.

Steam Deck's screen is really damn small unfortunately, even 6B mode is visually cramped.

I'll never really understand this sentiment. The game had me hooked after only a few minutes of being able to explore the Forgotten Crossroads however I pleased.

Me too, coming from someone who had already known much about the game and lore before playing it. There's nothing boring about this game at all.

When it comes to the Minstrel and Dragon Priestess being able to take an enemy as a follower.
Due to it happening before combat meaning you neither defeated or evaded the enemy, that will cause your turn to end. As shown in the encounter sequence flow chat in the manual.
For the Ghoul, since you need to defeat the enemy in order to take them as a follower, your turn continues as normal.

In regards to not being able to give up the Ghoul's followers for something.
Do you remember the thing that asked you to discard a follower?
As the Ghoul can discard raised followers at things like the Vampire Tower space.
