As I have read, there are mods for differenzt languages (inkluding russian) on Nexus.

And official support for other languages are due in the way of the EA.

We just had 2 guild members lose all their stuff because it jumped 100 feet in the air 5 days ago

Was it going to be a close escape? I'm wondering if it is a client/server desync. The server thinks it got you before you lifted off but the client doesn't know it yet. When the client catches up it just plays the death animation with the worm hitting the player where the client thinks they are.

Either way they should get the worm under control.

If we ever get another update, which i understand will likely never happen, i would love a reset button on the death screen, some randomization on the default map, and some sort of modding support, even if its not particularly broad (textures only, terraria vs tmodloader kinda thing).

It basically means what it says, open beta starts tomorrow. Right now is early access which needs a code or to have been signed up for BF Labs which was the program they did the closed alpha for.

Not really a fan of paying to access something but the option is there I guess. I'd just watch a stream for 30 min if I were you . As long as the tab is muted but not the stream itself I think it will count so you don't even have to watch or listen to it.

You can buy genes from traders, or get them from pawns (colonists, prisoners) with the extractor. Once you have them, you can make a xenogene implant at the gene table/workstation (forgot the name). The genes you have in storage are NOT spent, though (can be reused indefinitely). As for "what can you do", it's not that much tbh, unless you mod to make genes easier to get a hold of or reduce the genetic complexity requirements (as each gene has a complexity, which acts as a barrier to making those xenogene implants mentioned before). Even recreating a vanilla xenotype from scratch requires a lot of resources and time because of the random nature of getting new genes and the complexity requirements when making new implants.
