im not i just dont understand why a singleplayer/co-op game is getting balance changes

like what are the devs balancing against? the monsters? just make them stronger? dont nuke my characters build

Because it's not offline single player. It's always online multiplayer.

You can't pick your patch version. Any patch applied to the game is applied to everyone.

For Offline ARPGs, there is Grim Dawn, although updates are more infrequent and are paid expansion. or Last Epoch for a modern ARPG with a live service model, but with an offline mode and optional online.

Since I have a clear conscience and I'm honest, I'm not afraid to say that I've already used online cheaters in a game, not in BF, but it wasn't to gain superiority over other players in the gameplay, it was to protect myself from those who use cheaters with malicious intentions of harming the gameplay of others and ruining all the fun. I used cheaters to defend myself from cheaters so they wouldn't bother me while I play online :), because the game in question apparently can't protect its users from them, so I decided to use the cheater tool itself against them, something like the spell turning against the wizard :p, they never bothered me in the game again, and it's not because I know how to use them that I'm going to keep bothering other people's games. These cheaters who do it must be emotionally disturbed, living with confused feelings inside them and a lot of evil, this comes from the person's personality and character. I just used the cheater they made as a shield so I wouldn't be bothered by those who misuse them, but always playing online. honest way, since I like to be true to myself and my abilities, I can consider myself an honest cheater :), honesty above all is how I live.

No such thing as an "honest" cheater. Sorry. You know half the people you were "trying to protect yourself against" started the same way. If you are a cheater you are scum. Do better.
