I'm not quite as eloquent with words as some of the other folks on the team, so I'll quote our official statement here:
"As a result of your feedback and internal discussions on the same topic, we will immediately be rebuilding our internal Kill Switch process to be more nimble and better account for community sentiment. We understand you have an expectation of this tool that doesn’t match how we have been using it and wish to improve this.
Once we've settled on a new process, we will clearly communicate the criteria to trigger a Kill Switch to make sure your expectations are better in line with our actions."

To put it simply; We don't want to have situations where everyone is feeling frustrated and confused. We're sorry it came to this, but we're willing to learn from this experience and do better moving forward. I know the community isn't super happy with us right now, but I hope that our actions can speak for themselves as we grow from this.



You are garbage at what you do and you should be ashamed, and quit game development and never go near it again for the rest of your life. ALL of you involved in this games development should do that.

vampire, anime kid, springtrap. all overpowered pay to win since release: never nerfed properly after months of being in the game. All still overpowered.

you just buffed clown into being overpowered when he was fine, if not in need of a small debuff.
Now clown is added to the list of not fun to play as, or against, because he's overpowered. Along with wraith, deathslinger, singularity (who was fine on release, until you idiots buffed him for NO reason, making him extremely overpowered)


You clowns didn't even mention the unhappiness from every player of the game, over you idiots buffing the clown for no reason, making him unfun to play as, or against.
Only 3 perks, as if that was the issue with the update. WTF?


Micchone sounds white, as a black lady. She also sounds nothing like her IRL self.
Rick sounds black, as a white guy. He also sounds nothing like his IRL self.
Deryl sounds nothing like his IRL self.


I know you clowns will not do anything about that, even though you should. You should re-cast the voices for them, and re-record the voices. But I know you won't. And that's why I won't ever be re-purchasing the walking dead DLC after having gotten a refund for it.
I don't know why anyone would want to play as those characters and hear those horrible unmatching and hideous sounding voices and sounds from them.

I'm not sure when I'll even play this garbage game again. And if I ever do, I'm not gonna be playing as survivor. Too many overpowered killers total right now. F***ing disgusting.



hook camping and tunneling off hook has been an insanely bad issue on the game for YEARS, AND YEARS. and you braindead developers have done NOTHING to make it difficult to do so. Even though there's ENDLESS solutions that could be used.

Many of which I vocalized, and gave, in emails, on these comments, etc, etc, etc. And all of which were clearly never listened to.



Endurance should last at least 40s off hook, unless doing an objective.
Haste off hook should last at least 20s, and should be increased a lot, compared to what it is now.

The survivors main goal should be to get as far away from the hook and killer as possible. Your game does nothing to support that. CANNIBAL CAN LITERALLY CURRENTLY DOWN A SURVIVOR JUST UNHOOKED, BY USING HIS ABILITY ON THEM TWICE IN ONE ACTIVATION, EASILY. THE ENDURANCE OFF HOOK DOES NOTHING TO STOP THAT.

The unhooked survivor should have invulernability, just like while on hook, for at least 4s off hook. Then, any hit after that, would consume the endurance. They would still have the 20s of very fast haste, to hopefully get away.


the "antihookcampmeter" should fill so much faster than it currently does. a killer can literally sit in front of a hooked survivors face, and itll fill up to 100% after 15s. that is insane.
It should take 10s, max.

if the killer is within 18 feet or so of the hook, the progression should completely pause, while the unhook meter still goes up.

If the killer is within 32 feet or less, the meter should be going up. (Meaning, the distance from the hooked survivor, causing the meter to fill, should be way increased from what it is now.)

SURVIVORS NEARBY SHOULD NOT BE SLOWING OR PAUSING THE METER FILLING UP, AT ALL. THERE IS NO REASON WHY THAT SHOULD'VE EVER BEEN A THING TO BEGIN WITH.
