As mentioned, Slaughterhouse is one of those maps that tends to spawn a lot of snipers. Panic Room as well. Maybe Undercover or Hoxton Breakout day 2 as some possible solutions.

Same for me, my account was deleted after the update, I reinstalled the game several times after the update but my account no longer exists, i play via steam, and when I click on connect in game in the home menu, it sends me to the Steam page which tells me that no account exists.

You got no leverage from the start, that's why they dared to do this in the first place.

That's how it unfortunately is. You don't realistically hold any power over what they wanna do. It's however in their own best interest not to shoot themselves in the foot, if they want future income (if there's enough backlash).

13k players is about average. It could still drop even lower.

If we take more time into account, the average is like 7k (prior to patch). Then, prior to patch, we hit 13k and further ~33k. Now about month later, we are down to half the amount. Given how many bugs we still have, we'll most likely settle at around 10k, if at not less.
Can't say if this move was worth it.
