For the past couple of days, I haven't been able to find sessions with people. Has something happened?

Before this happened, I got an error related to BattlEye, but I closed everything, restarted it, and everything went well.

It's also true that I've started doing a lot of missions like Cayo Perico or Cluckin' Bell on the invitational server, just to do them with ease. I'm explaining this in case it's a factor. I even sometimes use the session switch to another invitational session for quick travel.

But it's funny how most of the time I'm alone in public sessions.

The most I've ever seen is 15 people in a session, but if I search for sessions, I'm always alone. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yeah, BOTs can do different stuff, sadly. Skyraider can make very sharp turns while in Jet form.

Achievements always factor in the total number of owners. Not all owners are players.

Many will buy games on hype or during sales but never play them, adding them to their pile of shame.

Starfield sold well off promises and reputation, but that doesn't translate into current and active players.

So... a low % on achievements suggests high number of owners but low number of actual players who performed the requirements for achievements (or used 3rd party tools).

Yeah, use the console, or use a mod, and there go achievements.... A lotta folks simply won't care about them. (me, for instance....) and won't go out of their way to find/install a mod to re-enable them. (I had one, but, it doesn't seem to work any more.....)

Every time someone criticizes EA’s Secure Boot requirement, the same kneejerk replies pop up:
“You must be a cheater / pirate / Linux nerd.”
That’s not an argument, that’s projection. Let’s unpack it:

🧠 Psychology Check:
✅ Tribal Defense, People defend EA not because Secure Boot is flawless, but because they’ve tied their ego to “I’m a legit player.” Criticizing Secure Boot feels (to them) like you’re criticizing them, so they lash out.
✅ False Security Blanket, It feels good to believe there’s a “magic bullet” to stop cheaters. Secure Boot offers the illusion of control, so people cling to it, even though cheaters always adapt.
✅ Authority Bias, “If EA says it, it must be right.” People are more comfortable trusting a billion-dollar company than questioning whether they’re being lazy or overreaching.

💡 What Secure Boot Really Means in This Case:

EA offloads its anti-cheat problem onto you, the paying customer.
Non-zero chance of bricked systems or broken setups (even if rare, still unacceptable).
Doesn’t solve cheating, only delays it.

📌 Let’s not forget:
If a propane tank company said “only 10% of them will explode,” nobody would accept that risk. Why accept “only some people will get locked out of their PCs” as fine?

Today it’s “turn on Secure Boot.” Tomorrow it could be EA-approved hardware. Remember Bethesda’s horse armor? Everyone laughed, now we’re nickel-and-dimed for everything. Small “harmless” concessions add up.

😤 Players who question Secure Boot:
✔ Care about consumer rights
✔ Don’t want corporations dictating BIOS settings
✔ Understand that real anti-cheat should be solved on EA’s end, not yours

😅 Players who defend it blindly:
✔ Need to feel morally superior (“at least I’m not a cheater”)
✔ Believe inconvenience = progress
✔ Forget history: cheaters always adapt, customers always pay the price

So no, this isn’t about “crybabies” or “cheaters.”
It’s about whether you’re okay with a company reaching deeper into your hardware and calling it a fix, while cheaters laugh and move on.

Secure Boot won’t stop hackers. It will, however, show how easy it is to convince players to defend bad business practices.

You have to test.
It depends if you run an AMD or Nvidia GPU.

If you run AMD, you might need to swap to DXVK (google it, you'll find a tutorial, it's very easy to setup).
Problem is related to DirectX 9 and most probably some shaders.
