I got it because it was cheaper than other brands, lesson learned. Just stopped working today one month after installing. Device manager stopped recognising the card though it was still powered on, put my old 4070 in and it works so I know the issue wasn't my motherboard etc. Sucks but this is part of PC ownership, RIP GPU.

I think there needs to be an honest discussion about the state of the game. Its pretty bad. We have predatory micro transactions, a borderline unfinished race as the benchmark of their newest expansion, a dev team that genuinely does not heed feedback and has shown no interest in catering to their paying customers and an archaic character creation system among a litany of other issues plaguing the game.

It genuinely feels like there has been a noticeable dip in quality and it has nothing to do with the usual gripes with Dawntrail.

I want to like this game. I did for a long time, but it feels like they're actively trying to drive away their playerbase with some of their weird decisions lately.

Idk, I'm not the smartest person around and ultimately it might just be that FFXIV is no longer for me, but has anyone else been noticing this?

They've made a lot of decisions recently that did not bode well with the general playerbase. It drove away a lot of people with how poorly the expac was received. Subsequent patches didn't help either.

One decision was regarding FT. The forked tower issues were so severe, and perhaps the biggest offender of all the decisions, or lack thereof, made by them, that they pretty much killed off any hopes from those who were looking forward to a more casual endgame content. The decision I am referring to was the refusal to put a queue system in the tower. Instead, they were adamant about keeping the cipher system, as they claimed would allow players to help each other to clear the content. Consequently, there were only around 400 clears initially, an incredibly low count for a supposed casual content.

the skins yeah are cringe
the game play reminds me of bad company 2. and the gun play and vehicles are fun

controversial take. I like it more than bf6. guns and maps are way better. bf6 feels like cod. this feels like a battlefield game

Nah this game DON'T GET ENOUGH of hate, literally one of the worst fps titles to ever be made.

System that causes 50% win rate has always been a side effect of the SBMM weight scale balancing, not EOMM, so this doesn't really change anything.

Any matchmaking mechanism will still have all the same problems; people will eventually lose games, people will eventually feel bad, people will eventually start to cry, because people with the main character syndrome always love to play a victim and blame every conspiracy theory they can come up with.

People should stop blindly parroting everything they hear from random people on the internet and go to school to learn to use their own brains.

Hello Tony,
I have a question about scenes. If I draw text at screen with the text command, with different colors to make my game menu, and after I load a scene, there are something like a layer not cleared that soil the scene.
Is there something I can do to load the scene properly ?
I use the "load scene(0, 0, true) = #0" command.
