I didn't know that mod was gone. Used it for a long time since I always have regenerating infestations and it made them more managable. Thanks for the heads up!

What does exicted mean?

Regarding stories in gaming (mech games in particular)...

I can't think of a single Mech game that has what I would call a "Good" story, some might point to Gundam games or something like that but that's from a non-game source a lot of the time.

Armored Core? Love the series to death, just got done replaying pretty much all of it that will emulate remotely well, and I can't for the life of me tell you the plot of any of the games past "corporations doing shady/bad/stupid things and you either make it worse or better", Last Raven was about as deep as a plot structure got for the franchise until 6 and even 6 is pretty lightweight overall (still deeper than the random string of coincidences that made up basically all the events of 1-Nexus and the event mishmash of LR-Verdict Day though imo).

I won't turn my nose up at a good story, it would strictly be a plus, but for as long as I've been gaming...story/plot in anything other than a hardline RPG of some sort or another has been a bonus rather than a main draw and I personally don't get the appeal that drives Souls fans wild in things like snippets of random lore for random events that we never see in item descriptions.

You know the closest thing I have to a mech game story that I remember to this day? Custom Robo, which literally only decides to have an overarching story in the final 10% of the game with a plot dump so long that has TWO DAMN AUTOMATIC SAVE POINTS IN IT. Honestly that plot dump might ironically be why it's so memorable despite being literal "Saturday Morning Shonen" up until a certain point.

It's OK on defense style missions but for everything else, yeah it's garbage tier. Also, who can be arsed to change armir between missions? I'd do it if we had loadouts but we still don't.

Ultra settings, 4k and BALANCED (!) dlss and it still can't lock to it's ridiculous 60fps cap. Pretty inexcusable tbh.

People are already defending this atrocity. We are conditioned to accept this bs by the companies. Read some of the comments justifying the performance. We are doomed and we deserve it.

This is a very poor optimisation. Sheep will buy the game and will defend it. People who demand value from the product priced at £ 69.99 will never accept this and will not support Greedami in its effort to capitalise on nostalgia and do a quick cash grab. This tactic might have been possible several years ago but it will not work in current age where access to information is unrestricted and increased cost of living makes people think twice before committing to spending so much money on a a busted product.
We are in charge and we control narrative. Vote with your wallets people ! Dont get conned by these unfair market practices.
