Didn't they say multiple times that they have an entire team devoted specifically to multiplayer? I'd say that's about as prioritized as they can get. They also said repeatedly, from my memory, that because the game was rebuilt from scratch, multiplayer had to be rebuilt from scratch too, and it is simply not in a state that they would be proud releasing yet. So from what I recall anyway, they are working as fast as they can, devoted an entire team to it, and want to release an actual working, polished feature rather than an unfinished feature that everyone would complain about. Making these posts trying to like bargain or manipulate or convince them to "just release it" don't make sense within the context.
