With all the 100+ post threads wailing about how difficult and unfair and unbalanced Honglan was, I was really expecting something big. Like double the health and double the damage that she actually has, which would have been a tough fight.

But nope. Her tiny health bar is so weak and pathetic that you can basically trade blows with her 1-for-1 and still win the fight. She has no answer to the whip sword. All she does is jump and flip around doing her stupid moveset while you slightly outrange her and just chew her health bar up. All of her attacks are easily solvable. They have accurate hitboxes (other than one jumping attack in phase 2) and are easy to dodge. She would be one of the easiest bosses in Berserker Khazan and is incredibly fair.

I am not even good at this game, nor have I delved into the mechanics much. I don't even use the left trigger/left bumper skills, because it's not even needed. She is so easy that you can just beat her ass with regular attacks. Her second phase is a little harder, but the whole phase can be almost avoided by just building up her stagger in phase 1 and then staggering her right before she would switch. By the time she gets up, she's almost dead.

The ONLY thing I will grant the whiners is that the potion-drinking animations in this game are garbage, and she does have a couple of attacks from long distance that she can start *after* you're already mid-animation and hit you before the animation concludes. That is sort of cheap, and trying to safely get up from a knockdown is the worst animation I've ever seen in a soulslike. But you can just work around that by having a bigger health pool. And she would also be hard, *if* your stamina is low. But you can just put a few points in the axe tree and grab the +5 endurance and +5 vitality right at the start and solve both problems and she is a joke.

It is pretty pathetic that people are getting walled off by this particular boss. If she was hard, I would get it because this game is so full of jank that it makes the deaths feel cheap, but there is nothing remotely special about her moveset.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you so much! I really, really enjoyed the game — it was such a fun experience and I truly appreciate all the effort that went into making it. Everything from the gameplay to the little details made it memorable and exciting IF YOU CANT TELL I USED AI BEACUES I CANT SPELL SORRY. BUT DID LIKE THE GAME AND HOPE THIS WILL BE FUN

Had somebody join our LAN game (not a mimic), said something vulgar in the chat and our host closed the game because of the crowd playing with us. Honestly disappointing that you can't have a private game cause somebody randomly can join that isn't on the WIFI or anything. FIX THIS

I finished the game and I can say it's really good. I wish more people could find, buy and play it. I suggest the developers to give it away for some curators in order to have more reviews and make it more known.

Anyone else have this happen specifically with this game? first time I've ever had this issue with anything on Steam...a bit over halfway through the game and as I close out I'm hit with this error. No matter how many times I retry, just won't take. Internet is fine and everything, and so far as I know no account issues, so not really sure what is going on. Tried backing up game files but have no idea where save data is stored, would rather just not worry about cloud stuff if I just have saves locally, but don't know if anything I do can screw it up because in searching I've seen others say they lost their files just restarting Steam. Really don't want to have to start over when it is seemingly at random.
