Copen’s voice for the games is now the iX voice actor as the original retired.

Definitely sounds more serious (especially in 1 where he doesn’t show up much).

Might be a little off putting at first if you’re used to the original voice sounding “younger”, but it is worth it by the time you get to the very end of 2.

The new voice does 2s ending very well, Extremely well. “Better than the original and not by a small amount” well.

Nah I don't believe it. I've played like 8 playthroughs and he always gets stabbed in the campsite. Pretty sure if he had some kinda secret easter egg quests for after that campsite moment I'd've found it by now. It's just one of those weird gamedev phenomena, like how Blizzard stopped making World of Warcraft games after Legion and so its remembered as a good series.

Then you're in the small minority of players who always stab him. I've done his entire personal quest line twice, it goes all the way to act 3 like every other companion. It's not a secret easter egg or anything like that, it's literally as out in the open as every other companion's quest line. You can not believe it, but then you're just denying reality.

DLC = Downloadable content to add to a base game. This isn't the "same game", it's a damn sequel, a whole new game. Can you not read, is that your problem? Because there's plenty in here to merit being its own game. And except for you entitled cheapskates who think they deserve free stuff (you NEVER do), people understand that a lot of work goes into making a NEW game with new content and story, and are willing to buy it. This would have been ridiculous to add as an expansion to Grounded. Start making sense.

It's CALLED a sequel. Shivering Isles COULD have been sold as a sequel instead of a DLC for Oblivion, but it wasn't. It was a DLC. Practically speaking, yes, Grounded 2 is the same game with a new map and a few additional features. It is a the same kind of content you would get in a DLC.

Definitely go with Grounded 1 first, IMO. It is a complete game. Grounded 2 is a sequel that is in Early Access. Just browse this forum. You'll see a bunch of toddlers screeching about how terrible this game is (which is flat out false) but there for sure is less content in this game right now than in Grounded 1.
