If you think it's "pay to win" in the way that you don't get to use a DLC character for free, I think you're about 17 years too late to complain.

None of those replace learning with your own experiments. It's like reading a book on how to fight and suddenly thinking you are a fighter. You need hands on experience and labbing to actually solidify that information. Otherwise it's just numbers and some other dude's interpretation of the character.

And what about character specific match up knowledge? you think there is going to be a guide on that?

100% You can't compare reading a guide to hands on experience, if you could use the dlc character in training mode it would at least decrease the win in pay to win.

He is still very strong and one of the top characters right now (outside of legendary gear game play, I have no experience with that so may change balance). Skills are still on the slower side to go off but you can chain them back to back at least. Hook still seems to stagger, at least some of the time, but has some desync issues and won't always bring them to you. His ult is still very strong, he can move during its animation and it still does solid dmg (about 2.5x basic attack damage). The aoe radius MIGHT be larger but not sure on that. Seems to hit very wide and further than I remember.

Game definitely has a lot of jank and its share of issues but Baran is definitely not the worst character, by far.

@jayslashduel. i agree same thing that happened with manor lords should of happened here. 1 developer created game and boom millions of sales then he hired a team of devs and artists. same thing should of happened here. tyler stop being greedy bruh. hire a team get these updates pumping out and start working on schedule 2. first expansion taking way too long.
