Top-Tier Ground RB Needs Proper Maps

Ground RB at top tiers is severely lacking in dedicated, well-designed maps. Right now, Cold War and modern tanks are often forced to fight on maps designed for WWII or lower-tier battles, which simply doesn’t work. High-tier battles require terrain that suits faster, more heavily armed vehicles and allows for meaningful tactical play.

Key issues and suggestions:

1. Dedicated Maps for High-Tier Combat

Cold War and modern tanks should have maps designed specifically for their capabilities, rather than being shoehorned into outdated WWII terrain.

Map scale, cover, and sightlines should reflect longer engagement ranges, faster vehicles, and heavier firepower.

2. Better Spawns for Both Air and Ground

Jet spawns need to be moved further back to prevent early SPAA camping.

Ground vehicle spawns should have adequate protection and multiple options, so players can engage without being instantly funneled into death zones.

3. Balanced Combat Opportunities

Maps should include areas for long-range engagements for tanks and jets.

They should also feature close-quarters zones, such as urban areas, forests, or industrial sites, where tactical maneuvering and CQB can shine.

4. Strategic Design Elements

Multiple approaches to objectives to encourage flanking and teamwork.

Natural and artificial cover to prevent one-sided engagements.

Spawn protection or early-game safe zones for air and fast-moving vehicles.

In short: Top-tier Ground RB needs maps that are fair, strategic, and built around the vehicles in play, not recycled WWII maps. Proper spawns, varied terrain, and balanced combat zones would make high-tier battles truly exciting and tactically rewarding.

I think those not quite Dreadnought suits are technically Vanguard as well? The Invictor Warsuit. Not a full Vanguard thing, but it's usually used with them. And I wish GW would finally release that Suppressor kit. It's one of my favorites

I think they did alright, at least based off how I used them in 9th. Considering the CQC nature of the game, the cloak they gave the class works well enough to keep them at range and typically encourage a sniping role. Though if I could, I'd be hiding in a building taking shots at warriors instead of on the ground floor with everyone else but y'know. Game restrictions

I'm still irked I had to go to Ebay, to get my storm cast eternal box set with annihilators.
I mean the baby carrier is technically lightly armored.
You'd be immortal as a sniper with a three story building,
with a broken wall as cover.

Should the game do a better job of explaining roles, for people who don't play the table top?
Yeaaah, though at least ebay isn't too much of a gamble. I just got some terrain and that new Araknae Quad Accelerator turret to use for terrain/occasional Hydra proxy (I have a Wyvern with a missing turret so y'know)

Technically, and the pilot can def be shot out of it lmao.

I feel like at most there could be a little blurb in some data slates that give a bit more context though. As the only 1:1 is the Heavy, as it's y'know. Heavy Intercessor
