Roblox scandal gets government attention.
Roblox VP of Civility and Partnerships works with "Online Safety Organizations".
Multiple tech companies on those same boards are all pushing for ID verification.
Anyone speaking against it is accused of not wanting to help children, or worse.
All in the last few weeks.

This is not, and never was about the kids. It's about power and control.
Damn, it's almost like all of these have a single common denominator with each other.

What? The Joos? The root cause can't be dealt with because the root cause is multi trillion dollar corporations with a monopoly on violence. It takes nothing for a hellfire missile that drop out of the stratosphere and kick down your front door with a bang. There is nothing in my house that can protect me from a corporation with an Abrams tank that happens to roll onto my front lawn and point it's barrel through my living room window.

If the paid content is just more dress-up options I dont see the problem as they don't make the operator any better or worse. Once they start diving into paywalled weapons i'd start to worry more

It's very reasonable, it's just a shame that UI can't really support it.
(Also 80 is way to small I play with close to 140)

Does anyone else play with no HUD?

It's by far the best way to play. You can actually SEE the enemies when aiming! Think of it, what an innovation not having random slop on your screen obstructing your view of the game world..

It really is a different game, and it gets better over time the more you get used to it. It also gives you more spatial awareness than 2D layers. Ive come to know the maps better and stay on the front line without the map. The audio is really important as well, if you have a good 3D headphone, it can really help the situation awareness.
