You don't, but there's a lot of the playerbase who complaints very loudly and frequently whenever the game offers any pushback. Look at the response to the Incineration Corps for example. So much complaining and they're not even that challenging.

If you lock SC behind doing well, the same people who complain their light siege ready eruptor gameplay where they maintain a solid 30% accuracy and blow themselves up with their own stratagems will complain endlessly about how unfair and broken it is.

We've already seen it with Incin Corps. We've seen it with War Striders. Any measure of difficulty causes a constant chorus of complaints.

The fire corps people only truly complaing about the conflagrator, because it is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ coin toss, it either hits you and burn you for 10% of your HP or straight one tap you from miles away, else is perfectly fine, not sure if they add a warstrider that lobs incendiary grenades... then we would have another cancerous bullet sponge enemy.

Taking longer than a George R. R. Martin trilogy.

IMO Kage, similarly to Lei, promotes bad habits. Kage offers unusual, long range attack that allows baits and combos against which the opponent is seemingly powerless - unless he knows what he is doing. All Kage "cheeses" have long windups and extensive telegraphing, and once you encounter someone who knows how to counter them, you will have hard time adapting - most Kage players are used to have initiative, and lack solid defensive fundamentals.
