I genuinely think it’s time for Battlefield to evolve. First-person shooters are a dying breed in the mainstream. Almost every big competitive game that’s blowing up right now — Fortnite, PUBG (console), even GTA Online — thrives in third-person because it’s more accessible and fun to watch.

Battlefield could benefit massively from going third-person only in BF6:

Better situational awareness = more tactical gameplay.

Characters and skins actually matter because you can see them.

Way more cinematic moments for streaming and social media.

Easier for casual players to get into since it’s less “tunnel vision.”

First-person in BF has always been clunky anyway — weird animations, clumsy movement, and terrible visibility in close quarters. A polished third-person system would fix that instantly.

I know “purists” will scream about immersion, but let’s be honest — immersion died the moment we got anime weapon charms and neon skins. Battlefield should embrace style over stubborn tradition.

If BF6 launches with forced third-person, it could finally stand out from every other generic FPS on the market. Staying first-person is just playing it safe, and safe won’t save the franchise.

What do you think is it time to look at the bigger picture?

The sniper glint is RIDICULOUS... They need to turn it down a lot. You can see the glint through smoke and everything. I've gotten most of my kills on recon from just counter sniping with the scope glint.

You're crying about being killed by shotguns which are designed to be a one shot close range and it is a proven fact that damage falls off 10m... SLUGS the thing that is supposed to be a one shot falls off to 75 damage flat despite being in a range that would do destroy anybody.

You're cherrypicking to try and maintain face because your ego can't fathom being wrong. You are objectively wrong on half of what you said, either man up and admit it or keep double downing. You could have easily said "That's fair but blah blah is still bad" and I would have been 100% right there with you.

I'm really happy to see that the Gray Wolf has been updated, especially since it now has an actual fur texture like the Eurasian Wolf. It should be interesting to see how their aggressiveness plays out, especially since there are a number of other animals in this game that I want to see get increased aggressiveness such as the Moose, the African Buffalo, and the American Bison.

Did you guys even go through all the submissions? 75% of these are terrible. Not to mention one that stole our palm trees and won lmfao and their base is hot garbage. But then again I didn't expect much comparing this to the state of the game. GG.

I think we're in the process of submitting an application, no guarantees on whether or not they accept it though :V

If you see is a red circle, it shows where it's aiming. You can use the scroll wheel to move it closer/farther away from you, and the mouse to rotate left and right.

It would be nice if the game ran at a consistent 60fps on a 9800X3D/9070XT.
