That's why it's called "beginner friendly". That's the whole point.
Following your logic, would you want the penitent to be buffed because he has nothing but a single gun ?

It doesn't even take that long to bring any other class in line with weapons and gear, it just offers a strong and faster start to the game, it's ultimately the player's choice what starter they want but it only really changes your first few runs.

Even if you believe it's so "strong" to begin with, that's still your choice to take the "easy way" or not.

as for why ISP doing bandwidth throttle, only the Internet Service Provider can answer that.

the best way is to upgrade your internet connection speed to 1 GB internet connection speed.

then that way, even if someone is downloading an extremely large file size, you will still have more than enough internet connection speed for online gaming.

I'm sure the devs are a little strange i mean they did make this game. This game is to much for the younger folks gives them nightmares, parents burn copys of it at church. I was even told that it's based on a true story.....

Same issue here! All settings maxed out and still very low texture quality, draw distance and anti-aliasing..

Buying gear is fine, gold is kinda trivial and enemy strengths are kind of ahead of yours early on. Always best to buy the gear that ups stats all it will do is make your game easier. You won't find some super expensive item either, besides the gear you currently need. You may have to do some grinding for specific ones however. You can also find good natural gear, just weigh your options and make your best judgment this games not that punishing in the way of money and gear.

Now later on you'll probably just spend all your gold on potions.
