I agree. This game is amazing and my wife would love it, but she can't get past the flashing and sudden bright spikes. I personally don't mind all that much, but some UX options for the disabled or otherwise visually needful players would go a LONG way for their sales, I would suspect. I mean, it would definitely sell another copy to my household.

If you are after the Reactor level in story mode, then it is normal, because Miho is not in the HQ in that case.

The USA spreads terror and hate throughout the Middle East and Africa under the guise of being "counter terrorist", when in fact they do overwhelmingly much more to promote & create more terrorism or violence, the US military is the most effective international terrorist organization that ever existed.

The Pentagon is the lasting power structure in US politics, US politicians come and go but the military industrial system remains. Those are also part of the people in power, it's not anything innocent or separate from Washington and they are all part of the same animal and just a different organ that all has the same malevolent goals in mind. The US military and its industrial complex is the dominant, lasting power in the US political system that supersedes nearly everything else and shapes so much policy including domestic, it's hard to believe in any American govt worship propaganda that's drilled into heads at any opportunity using pop culture, media, etc. It's funny to see people believe they dislike politicians etc but all the while are nodding their heads at and being happily convinced to worship the govt, the military, the police, etc.

It's just a common theme to see people differentiate between the military and the rest of the govt, when in fact the military is the largest, most influential, most dominant organ or "head" of the international terrorist beast in the first place. It's common because Americans are told to worship the military, which is one reason why it's a large employer.

Americans are told to worship international terrorist violence. It's obvious when you watch such garbage as that latest western documentary about the American intervention in Somalia. The interviewees routinely admit to murdering people for no good reason, although they lie about it and pass it off as if it's not even debatable and we have to agree with them that's it's justified -- total damn BS, pretending that everyone has to agree with them or else you "aren't supporting the troops" and other similar bullshi-.

I guess because of a bunch of the typical, mindless flag waving nonsense where someone has no substance and needs to stick to mindless imagery, hooting and hollering, shifting the focus around instead of sticking to the topic at hand, etc.

I guess it's not so easy to justify murdering people if it's a bunch of unarmed civilians in your own country, and they have the same skin color and religion etc as you (that is if one is a racist, xenophobic, flag waving American who excuses all of the people their government murders including its own employees, and you have a double standard about murdering humans depending on what nationality or culture etc).

It's easy to disrespect Americans and respect anyone else more than Americans automatically because of the lack of self awareness and pompous, idiotic, murder-justifying attitudes.

It's just funny to see people's reactions to remarks like this when all most folks have in the end is a bunch of fallacious nonsense that distracts away from the topic at hand, as so many Americans including those on the "left" who have some idiotic grudge or one-sided pissing contest they need to process etc.

In nvidia control panel go to manage 3d settings. Go to low latency mode and put it on ultra. Says it limits the frames the cpu processes before the gpu so far I noticed a big improvement. Also not maxing out my cpu as much either.

One great thing about adding stuff to Hagga Basin for the PvE players is that once enough is added the PvE players would no longer need to go to the DD to complete all the stuff in the game. Hagga Basin would then essentially be complete enough to become a single-player game.

Besides more PvE content, this game really need a single-player mode. This updated Hagga Basin with both spice and other T6 resources could easily be made into a single-player mode for those that want it.

Why does the Deep Desert exist?
The Deep Desert (DD) is designed as a high-risk, high-reward zone. It’s not just another map, it’s the core endgame loop:
- It forces players to take risks in order to obtain the most valuable resources.
- It creates tension and challenge, true to the Dune universe where going out into the deep desert is never safe.
- It gives the game an open-ended progression. Without the DD, there would be no reason to leave your comfort zone and no real stakes.

Why are resources like Spice there?
Spice isn’t just “another material”:
- It is the heart of the Dune universe. Everything revolves around its extraction, its rarity, and the danger tied to it.
- In the game, Spice is used for crafting, progression, powers, and trade.
- By keeping it tied to the DD, Spice retains its value and strategic importance.

If players could farm Spice and Tier 6 resources safely in PvE-only zones (like Hagga Basin), those resources would lose their value and nobody would ever risk going into the desert. The economy and progression would collapse into a simple PvE survival game and that wouldn’t be Dune.

Ya, I don't like games that "force" you into anything. I like to chose what I do in a game, not be forced into some mold of what the game wants me to do. Some call that a sandbox style game. Most survival games are of that type and they do very well that way.

I actually play games to relax, not to experience "tension".

An open-ended progression in this game? As in "as a survival sandbox game, Dune: Awakening offers a large, persistent open world that emphasizes player freedom."?

Not sure what keeping the spice just in the DD has to do with player freedom. Seems kind of like that is forcing players into one particular play style, which is against the main them of the game, which is to offer players an open-ended progression.

Or maybe this is just what you want and has nothing to do with the main theme of the game?

I would disagree, the meta is pretty bad right now and there were no balance changes.

Healers are throwers, this game sucks, EOMM is real, devs just keep lying, it is significantly harder when 3 players throw all match long.

Velo is the most unfair dinosaur in the game.
It counters the entire movement system this game has.
Very fast Turn rate.
Very Fast sprint rate.
And very Far Jump rate.
and It can fly.
The only real "downside" of this dinosaur is its lack of health, which you can Counter by just getting Health Talents? And the one talent that stops you from being insta killed.
The "Counters" People say that you have against the velo is "brake checking".
But any skilled velo can just like.. Jump or fly away from you the second you have even a second of fighting back?
With how slow the turn rate is on most dinos, The velo can just spam bite on your tail or back area, Like your feet.
People also say that water can "counter" the velo, However Velos already swim quite fast alone, But there is a talent that you can get that Makes you swim FASTER.
People also say that You can use Trees to "counter" The velo, The way you do this is by putting your back against A tree, However, A velo can Just Do the same thing that tail riding does, Get under your feet.
I mean no hate to Players that Like to play as velo, But the people who say velo is fair and balanced have no idea what they are talking about.
Any "Counter" That the velo has Can just be un-countered because of its speed.
Its speed quite literally counters EVERY Possible attack you may have against it.
