so much functionality has been removed with these new filters, it's very bad

the game is behaving very strange, I have a gtx 1070 i7 with 16gb, I always play with a friend who has a 3080 and an i9 with 32gb, we were playing all last week with a spectacular performance and today the game is practically unplayable, even in single player for me and my friend, there is something very unstable that void must fix now, it is not the first time that happens, under low hardware use low fps, when it feels like it and always with a gpu usage of 60% or below, in the case of my friend the drop is more considerable, since he plays at more fps and it drops to like 50

yeah. noticed that flashlights on drastically decrease performance as well which is odd so i have all my squad using laser pointers now.. but yeah it's just leviathan that gives low gpu usage towards the middle of the map. Carrier of the vine has low fps too but thats for reasons that make more sense and changing settings fixes it unlike leviathan. I guess because it's a dlc map they put less effort into it's optimization because otherwise the game runs fantastic for me and the graphics are very nice.

Just want to point out here that this thread was started well over a year or so ago, so anything posted before the last week or so was posted by somebody who does not have all the updates for the game - this kind of timing usually makes some of the comments or thoughts dated if not just plain wrong... just saying!

Something odd i have noticed with sound balancing.

On the fire planet level during the fight with the snake boss the sound FX and voice are slightly muted and the music overpowers everything. I have noticed this on one of the sky levels with floating islands as well. Again sound fx and voice seems to be slightly muted compared to music.

On the underwater level the opposite seems to occur. Music this time seems to be getting slightly muted in favor of the louder bubbling and sonar sounds. So there seems to be some odd sound balancing at times unless these volume changes are purposely intended as design choices.

This is nothing major of course just figured I'd point it out.

A little more info on the sound balance to help out.

You can easily test this issue on both level 3 and level 4. If you move the player ship into the water the music volume drops drastically. When you move the ship back out of the water the music volume returns to normal.

Since the majority of level 4 takes place completely underwater the music is sadly stuck in this low volume state. :(

To Tuvix or to not Tuvix — Voyager had so many interesting philosophical, existential, and ethical dilemmas throughout the series. I watch the re-runs regularly on Pluto TV. This game sounds intriguing if it can capture that.

Was playing today on the sticky note level and noticed that you can open the upside down safe room and that dry sticky notes and be destroyed by running through but wet ones are heavier so they can't be.

Not much to really talk about a game with low player count.
