I my humble opinion, the so called 'overwhelming spam' is just a lie. Why should there be a sudden wave of whatever 'spam' on a forum of a game multiple of years old? I'm sure there is a another reason. The fact that they do not tell the truth tells quite a story about the team and the company. I think they have financial problems. Cancel culture comes at a price...

if you quit to menu then continue it seems to undo last round. so save scumming is an option

О, меня как раз интересовал этот вопрос - если в чистилище, значит, победить босса без урона, ачивка засчитается?

I have an achievement guide posted with all the achievements including this one but the short version is that this is a Docker-locked achievement that you can earn during chapter 4. Head over to the docks during the afternoon (near where the hatch door with the chest full of port is) and you should spot Gustav.
