Yeah wish I could PIN a message warning everyone in a cave base.. Caves are randomly meshed wrong.. so they dont count as ' cover '.. If you set a base in a cave, an cant cover it 100% in walls, you might have issues.. Once you find a location thats broken .. it will always be broken.. so move your stuph away from it an you are fine.. just takes a bit to figure out all the death spots heh..

My base was not in a cave tho, it was like hanging on the side of a moutain with stairs leading up for my vehicle to drive.

Have you downloaded any mods? Some of them can have the character's voices be majorly messed up. I thought the games audio was broken in my first race but it was because the Pokemon I was driving as was "talking" in an ear piercing way haha
